Terms of Sale

Ah yes, the boring but legal stuff…

These are the Terms of Sale for Wig Commissions, considering topics such as my Professional Statement, Payments, Cancellations, Returns / Refunds, etc. For any other enquiries, please check the Wig FAQs, or send me an Email / Private DM to further escalate the Question.

Every Client who receives a Wig Commission Invoice and Confirmation will have confirmed their acceptance of the following terms.

A Professional Statement from Ace of Prince:

“As a Maker, I am more than willing to work with any Creative who comes to me seeking a Wig Commission / Quote. As a Maker I stand firm with my beliefs in EDI, and will not limit my works from any person. Next to this, no matter the reasoning, I will not allow my works to be seen with relation to Hatespeech or anything unlawful. Should this happen, the Client will be Blacklisted.

As a Disabled person too, I am willing and wanting to stretch my work to fit a Person in any way possible. I understand that Costume pieces can aggravate Disabilities, and if mentioned I will aspire to ease any worries. I cannot however, due to the nature of Costuming, promise 100% comfort in the final make. 

I also will only accept commissions from people aged 18 and over, due to Paypal restrictions and personal preference. I will only accept working with people under this age if they can confirm and get a Parent / Guardians signature of reading and accepting the Terms of Sale, and to confirm that the Payment should go through them. I will also make Wigs for people from media content that is 18+, however especially in this circumstance, the Client themselves will have to be 18+.

When it comes to my Creations, I will not strictly follow how another Wig maker has created a Wig or another Maker’s final Product. Should a client send me references and use another Maker’s wig as one of them, I shall instead ask what it is they like about the Creation, and use that as an inspiration in a Unique and Personal design. Every wig created is made with the Client’s best interests in mind, which often includes a small and simple hand-drawn reference made by myself to stray far from any type of Plagiarism. 

As a Final note, I only accept Wig Commissions within the UK. This is due to Tariffs and Regulations that come up upon Shipping to Places for example within the EU or The US. If you wish to have a Wig Commission made and sent to a UK Address, and then send it on to an International Country for it’s final destination, this must be done with my knowledge and confirmation that once it is received at the UK address, I am not liable for further losses, tariffs, customs or damages. Thank you for understanding.”


Payments.

Upon Acceptance of Commission, the means of Payment is decided on between me and the Client. This is narrowed down to one of the following:

  1. Full payment on Acceptance

  2. Half on Acceptance and Half on Completion

Or, An Agreed Payment Plan with Specific Payment Dates.

The Client is then sent an Invoice VIA Paypal. This Invoice allows for Buyer & Seller protections, as well as the ability to pay in segments and / or add a Tip if so willing (it is always appreciated but never expected). Above a certain price range, options like Klarna are also available. 


The Client has Seven Days from the Time the Invoice is sent to Pay the first installment. Should this time pass with no completed Payment, the Commission will be cancelled and the Slot given to another on the waiting list. This is to ensure Fairness. Extensions are only given under certain extenuating circumstances, and at my Discretion. 

Next to this, there are also Late Fees for any Client who does not Pay agreed amounts by certain times. They go as follows:

  • If ‘Half on Acceptance and Half on Completion’ is chosen as the Payment Method, the Client will be kept informed on the expected Completion date for their wig, and they shall be given the update when the Wig has both been started and then later on completed. Due to the nature of my Work, the Client will also be kept up to date with Progess on their Wig. Upon Completion, unless there has been previous confirmed conversations and an agreed upon final Payment date, the Client will be given a total of fourteen days following the Wig’s Completion for the final installment before a total of £15 is added onto their invoice. This is repeated every two weeks until the Final Payment is completed.

  • If ‘An Agreed Payment Plan with Specific Payment Dates’ is chosen as the Payment Method, the Client will be given a total of seven days following the stated date before Late Fees are implemented. This will be a total of £15 added onto their Invoice, to be repeated every two weeks following this date until the missing Payment segment is paid.

For both methods of payment, should it reach five Late Fees presented (including the first) therefore totalling £75 with no Payment Segment / Final Payment confirmed, the Wig Commission will be Non-Refundably Cancelled. There shall be no refunds for the original Client which will cover work already done and any materials bought, and the missing payment will be filled by sale of Wig to a secondary Client. 

Please note, this has never happened before! I will always aspire to be as understanding as possible towards my Clients, however as a one-person-team, theres only so much leniency I can have.


Cancellations.

The Client has a right to cancel their Wig Commission at whatever point, however the following Regulations must be followed, and a Cancellation fee of £15 will be applied to all options.

  1. If the Client has Paid the first Segment of the Commission (or Full Payment of Commission) and no work has been done, the client shall be refunded the amount paid MINUS the total of; Paypal Fees, Materials Bought and Cancellation Fee. The Client can request to be sent the Materials bought, in which postage will be also deducted from the total refund.

  2. If Work has begun, no refund will be given to cover Materials, time spent on the commission and to cover the Commission Slot which had been taken up until that point. The Cancellation Fee will be applied as the final closing Payment.

If the Cancellation Fee is not paid, the Client will be Blacklisted from future Services.


Returns / Refunds / Damages

Due to the nature of the product, no Returns / Refunds shall be accepted. This is due to Hygiene concerns! The Client is sent final Photos and Videos prior to the Wig being posted, and the final ‘Yes, I am Happy’ from the Client is the confirmation of the Commission being completed. No Returns or Refunds due to Styling will be accepted due to this confirmation.

Once the Wig is packaged securely and sent, I am not Liable for any damages or losses via Postal Services. Every wig is shipped with full coverage and insurance, and I will assist as much as I possibly can! I check in on the day of estimated delivery to see if the Wig has arrived okay! If I do not hear back within 48 hours, I consider the Wig delivered safe and sound! 

Please message me the moment that there is an issue and I will do what I can from my end. 

If your wig arrives Damaged, there are two options I am happy to offer if the following Rules are followed.

  • Firstly! Take Photos of the outside of the box, the inside of the box, and then the Wig. These photos need to be taken right away as it has been opened. I need clear photos of all stated items at all angles! If I do not have this, I cannot help you. 

  • Secondly! Do not try the wig on if it is damaged. Any damage done by Client wear and tear is not covered in the following offers. Only try the wig on if I request it.


The Options are:

  1. I will assist in talking through any fixes if I feel like the damage is not massive. I will send messages, photos and videos on how to fix any pieces that have fallen into disarray.

  2. If the damage is more strenuous and I do not feel comfortable with just assisting via Online, on this occasion I will accept a Return. You will have to pay for the return shipping, and I will personally make any Repairs needed for the price of the Shipping back to you, which will be sent to you in a new invoice. If new materials are needed, this price will also be added to the invoice.
